Do You Need A Hobby?

Unexpectedly, finding a new one saved me from the bleakness that was in front of me.

There was about a year of my life that looks VERY dark in retrospect.

I lost most of the important people in my life because I screwed up badly. (See past stories for those details.) In that time period, my husband and I opened up our marriage and started dabbling in non-monogamy.

This was a very tough period in my life where I felt like I was making decisions for everyone but myself because I was so consumed by guilt. I was lonely, broken, and I felt like I had no hope or vision of any kind of happy future.

Something had to give.
